==== Change a Member's Start Date ====

If the current start date has not yet passed AND they have not yet signed their MSA, i.e. today is June 12, 2023 and their start date is June 12, 2023, staff with **Edit Member** permission can make this change.


If they have already signed their MSA or it is past their start date, staff with **Delete Member** permission can make this change.

===== WARNING =====
Check that the member has not already entered hours if you are making this change after their current start date. 

You can access the Payroll view from the Member table by selecting the payroll icon from the "Pay" column.

If you are changing the start date, you should delete the pay period that has already entered hours as these hours should not be counted toward their award.  Staff with **Delete Pay** permission can make this change.
